Shortcomings of India's Higher Education
One of the shortcomings of higher education in India is that none of its colleges are anywhere to be found in the global league tables. The absence of Indian colleges is a sad reflection of something being amiss in India's higher education. If the quality of higher education in India is to improve, the focus of the governance must be on research and learning outcomes. Since inception, the focus of the Institute of Business Management Studies (IBMS) has been on quality distance higher education at a cost-effective option. This has benefited many students aspiring for a better quality of life.
